Benefits to Therapists

Many therapists feel frustrated and burnt out by inconsistent patient outcomes and working too hard for low returns. Strain Counterstrain (SCS) is gentle on both the patient and the therapists hands & body and the treatment outcomes will make you the most sought after practitioner in your area. SCS will allow you to treat the underlying causes and get to the root of your patients symptoms. SCS is a passive positional procedure that treats the neurological protective reflex creating somatic joint dysfunction and musculoskeletal pain. It can also be used to treat protective reflexes within the fascia of the visceral organs, circulatory vessels and the neuromeningeal structures that are often at the heart of chronic pain presentations. Introductory 3 day courses include SCS1 for the spineSCS2 for the extremities and SCSFI – fascial introduction.
