FCS CSS-P (formerly CSS1) explores the general concepts and treatments related to neural crest sensitization. This form of central sensitization related to neural crest tissues (teeth, cranial bone and cranial cartilage) creates chains of system-specific tender points that will not respond to local treatment. Examples include arterial tender points that require treatment of the temporal bone or somatic nerve along with TP locations that require occipital bone treatment.
CSS-P techniques also have direct impact in facial, dental, and cranial conditions including post-concussion syndrome, TMD, sinusitis, visual/auditory dysfunction, and cranial nerve disorders. This course will give you tools to use with the most difficult patients including those with tender points that will not fully release or appear to constantly “come back.” Link here for more information and to register.
